“…quite brilliant and very unique.”

“Quite brilliant and very unique” is how The Local Scene blog described Hail the Titans‘ music in a recent post about the band and our IndieGoGo fundraising efforts.

Thank you to everyone who has already donated and to everyone who has helped promote the campaign for us. It means a lot to us. In less than a week, with your help, we made it up to $870, and there are still about three weeks left to go.

Our plan is to release “Hymns of Mare Nostrum” in late summer. We’ll be announcing more details soon.

The Montgomery Advertiser’s Teri Greene interviewed Hellakopta of Love‘s Winfred Hawkins for an article in today’s “Go Play” section. It’s about their show tomorrow. Click here to read the article. (Also see my “Get to da choppa!” post from yesterday for details.) I plan to be there.

Also, I somehow forgot to post on here that my new column, “Survival means working together,” was posted in the Capital City Free Press on June 2. It relates to a post on this blog from May 16 called “Stories from the road.”

And… Pint Bottle Photography recently posted some photos from last Friday’s Helicity Montgomery event and after party like this one that was taken during the Hail the Titans set:

Oh, and if you haven’t heard the new Moonlit Sailor album, “Colors in Stereo,” do yourself a favor and head on over to the Deep Elm records website and stream it. It’s really good.
