Workin’, workin’, workin’

We (Hail the Titans) did not have a show this past weekend, however our weekend off was still pretty busy.

Friday afternoon, we went to AUM to see our friends Hellakopta of Love perform in the Quad for the Summer Concert Series. After the show, we had practice and wrote a new song. (It’s a short one, for us anyway, but there’s a lot going on for those three or four minutes.)

Saturday, we had an interview with a writer from RSVP Magazine (big thanks to Johnny Veres from Hellakopta of Love for recommending us), and Sunday we had an interview with a writer from the Montgomery Advertiser. As far as I know, an article may run in the Advertiser as early as Thursday, whereas the RSVP article should be in their issue that will come out the first week of July.

After the Advertiser interview, we went downtown and met up with Hillary from Pint Bottle Photography and our friend Tyler Caldwell for a photo shoot. There were button-down shirts, ties, office antics, boardroom fights, a putter and Trey getting choked by a telephone cord. Oh, and a reference to Godzilla, and how that messed up shipping.

We do have some shows coming up this weekend.

Friday, we’ll be at Green Bar in Tuscaloosa, Ala. with The Great American Breakdown and Shaman Says. Click here for details.

Saturday, we’ll be at the Drunken Unicorn in Atlanta, Ga. with Demonaut, Order of the Owl and Mice in Cars. The show is being put on/sponsored by Rock Science Radio and Performer Magazine.

Here is a link to a Drunken Unicorn blog post about the show – click here. And here is the Facebook event listing.

Also, if you can’t make it to the show in Atlanta, but want to see it, LiveStream will be streaming the show live (hence their name “LiveStream”). The doors open at 9 p.m. Eastern, so if you’re reading this in Alabama, tune in at 8 p.m. The link is
