Halloween weekend has a lot of stuff going on…

…which is to be expected, I suppose.

So here you go:

Thursday (tonight) and Friday, Zac Martin is playing at Baumhower’s restaurant in downtown Montgomery. He plays from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Distant Kin is playing the Tipping Point’s Halloween Bash. Starts at 6 p.m.

The O’Dudemen are playing at Head on the Door. 10 p.m. No cover. 21+.

At Egan’s in Tuscaloosa, The Great American Breakdown and Banditos are playing. That’s going to be a really good show.

The Squeaky Lizard in Ocean Springs, Miss. is having their one-year anniversary show featuring Hail the Titans, the F’n A-holes and The Mayhews.

Montgomery’s roller derby team – The Deadutauntes – are having a Halloween party. “Sugar Skulls and Spice and Everything Nice” is being held at Santa Barbara on Vaughn Road in Montgomery and features Creep List, DJ REV and DJ Lost Cause.

Metal. Metal. More metal. Last Transgression is holding their CD release party for “Cynic Verses” at Head on the Door. Oklahoma-based Self Inflicted is touring through the area and playing this show as well. Show starts at 10 p.m. 21+ and no cover.

The album is currently available through CD Baby on disc or download.

In Mobile, The Blind Mule is hosting The Banditos. They always put on a great show. This one is 18+.

And finally….

Hail the Titans is having a one-year anniversary party. It’s being held at Pete Peterson Lodge in Lagoon Park. Starts at 7 p.m. and goes until 11, which is an early night for us. Our friends Distant Kin are playing as well. I hope you can make it!
