MFF 13! More film news! And Thanks!

The Montgomery Film Festival announced the lineup for their 2022 events, and there’s a lot of good stuff in there! This year’s festival runs Nov. 18-20 at the historic Capri Theatre.

The short films block is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 19, starting at 1 p.m., and included in that block is a supercut of the Towering Above music video trilogy called Tamam Shud 10.16.6. This cut includes some additional footage and tells the complete story all in one 14-minute sitting.

Synopsis:

A kidnapping, a sadistic death cult, and psychiatric experiments bring one man full circle to the brink of insanity in this music video trilogy by the band Towering Above.

And speaking of the Montgomery Film Festival and the Capri Theatre, the short documentary about the theatre that had its debut at last year’s MFF will be public starting Nov. 1, 2022 (next Tuesday.) It will premiere on YouTube at 10 a.m. See the trailer for Clover/Capri below:

I think that’s mostly it for film news at the moment… so in music news, I’d like to say a big “THANK YOU!!!” to everyone who came out to the Rocktoberfest event this past Saturday. For real. I had such a great time. It’s been a while since I’ve fronted a band, so jumping around playing those old songs had a nice nostalgia for me, and I appreciate everyone who showed up for it, the other bands, and of course my current band 🙂
