Live this Saturday – Jan. 22, 2022!

Haven’t blogged in a month; lots going on behind the scenes, buuuuuuut, I wanted to make sure to do a quick post about the upcoming show this Saturday!

Towering Above is joining Grasping at Pieces and new band Venusville (their debut) at the Sanctuary in downtown Montgomery, AL. Doors open at 7:30, showtime at 8. It’s $10 at the door, and it’s all ages, so feel free to bring the kids so they can get inspired to be broke musicians like the rest of us! But for real, click attending on the Facebook event (and then actually attend! It’ll be fun!)

In other news… Towering Above has been working on music videos for the next album (which is still in process.) We shot one video in December and one this past Saturday. I’ve been directing, but I have to give a special shout out to my First Assistant Director C. DeWayne Cunningham (Carolyn Jean’s Son Visions) and Director of Photography Stephen Poff (Body Thief Films.) Their dedication to this project has been absolutely crucial to making it happen, and I can’t thank them enough. Also, lead actors Sean Golson and Jeff McKinney have been absolutely killing it. And many thanks to the other actors that have helped us make these projects happen; their dedication has been amazing, and we appreciate it!

Also, I recently worked on a project for my friend, singer-songwriter Megan T. Kuehner. She’s got a new EP coming out March 11 called “The Truth,” and I recently captured a couple of live performances (at the Cloverdale Playhouse; many thanks to the staff there!) Be sure to follow her for updates.

You might remember Megan (formerly McMillan) from a video I directed a few years back for a song called “Things that Change.” You can see it here.

OK… that’s it for now. Thanks for reading, listening, subscribing, following, etc. Please keep in touch. Much love!
